Celebrating 10 years!

The club was started in 2016 by a number of students from Teresa Sholars' Mushroom Identification class. They were so excited about what they learned in class that they wanted to continue to have a forum to learn and share about the abundant fungal diversity here on the Mendocino coast. Over the years, more and more folks gathered to learn and share their knowledge. The club survived the pandemic by moving online, and has hosted dinners, festivals, forays, workshops and more. Cheers to 10 years of enjoying mushrooms on the Mendocino Coast!
Join us, and meet, play and socialize with other local mushroomers. If you are interested in any aspect of wild mushrooms—finding, identifying, cooking, dyeing, painting, drawing, paper or felt making, photographing, cultivating, etc.—you are welcome.
We have forays, speakers, workshops, movies, potlucks, etc. ​We meet monthly from September to March. 
​Club meetings are open to the public. ​
