Potluck FAQ
Do you have questions about the potluck? You've come to the right place.
Q. When is it?
A. May 14, 2024, from 5:00-7:00
Q. Where is it?
A. First Presbyterian Church of Fort Bragg
Q. Does my dish have to contain mushrooms?
A. No. Mushrooms would be an added bonus, but not necessary.
Q. Do I have to cook, or can I just pick something up from the store?
A. You can bring whatever you have the time and inclination for. Drinks, appetizers, salad, desert, mains, side dishes - they’re all needed.
Q. Can I cook or heat up my dish at the meeting?
A. No, sorry. If you want to serve something hot, it would be best to bring a crockpot, or something you could plug in. We won’t have access to cooking facilities. You will be able to use the sink to wash up some dishes when the potluck has ended, if need be.
Q. Is there a refrigerator for something that needs to stay cold?
A. Yes.
Q. How do I know if someone is already bringing what I was planning to bring?
A. Check the website list of all the dishes.
Q. Will there be plates and forks and cups available to use?
A. No, sorry, we will not be using the kitchen or the the supplies from the church, so please bring your own place setting for the meal (plates/bowls/silverware/cups/etc) that you will need. You can bring disposables but we encourage you to bring your reusables, which you can take home to wash. You may also want to bring some containers for leftovers (if there are any!)
