We are an informal group of mushroom lovers on the Mendocino coast in northern California. If you are interested in any aspect of wild mushrooms–hunting, I.D., cooking, dyeing, paper or felt making, photographing, cultivating, etc.–you are welcome. We host a wide variety of events in addition to our monthly meetings from September to March.
The club was started in 2016 by a number of students from Teresa Sholars' Mushroom class. They were so excited about what they learned in class that they wanted to continue to have a forum to learn and share about the abundant fungal diversity here on the Mendocino coast.
